    Antique Bowie Knife Military Clip Point Hand Made Primitive Trench Art Fur Trade
    I know nothing about knives but this one looks very old to me, please correct any information that I may have wrong.
    It looks like it was hand made possibly by a soldier in the field and personalized. Could it be a confederate or WWI era knife?
    The wooden handle has the name Cuddy scratched in to it. The leather sheath has A.C. Rodder carved into it.
    The knife has ML D 550 stamped in to blade. Hopefully you knife people out there can recognize the era that it was made.
    Condition. The knife looks very old to me, the blade is very sharp, Handle scuffed up from use.
    Measurements: Total length 14". Blade 8 1/2" Long x 1 3/8" wide at the base. Weight w/sheath before packing: 13.2 oz.
