Description

Family antique shadow box frame. I am guessing, based on the photo of family (not included) that came out of it, that the frame is from the later 1800's.
The frame is all original and shows its age with significant patina that I believe adds character. It is clearly not perfect but it is solid with no rot.
The frame is probably walnut with a tortoise shell inner finish with some gold leaf and etched decorative details. It comes with the original glass and thin wood backer.
The frame is 16" x 14" and 3-3/4" deep. Interior depth is 3". The picture size is 8" x 10". Please look closely at the pictures.
