    Description

    Very nice, and very simply made. There is no maker’s mark, but the number 56984 is machine stamped on the aluminum guard (Photo No. 6). No other markings that I can find. Knife is 10 3/4 inches in total length, with a 6 1/4 inch blade. Nice full-bodied bone handle. I think the clip point blade is stainless steel but I can’t say for sure; it
    might be carbon steel.
    Accompanying sheath looks original to me - it’s about the same vintage and knife fits great. Sheath is also very well made, but unmarked.
    CONDITION: Knife has been used a lot but it’s still got plenty left in the tank. It’s rock solid and sturdy, with no play or loose parts. It’s also quite clean, despite the use.
